    In this case, a speaker with more prominent (processed bass) might be the better solution. Check out Yorkville's NX55Ps for example. I don't love their sound at high volumes, but they sure do well at lower volumes. Even the more afforable Cerwin Vegas have this built-in bass boost that would be good for your application. I just reviewed the 10s not too long ago. type Alpoulin1 in Youtube to find my channel and review.

    I went to Guitar Center to check out the DXR15 but they don't have them on the floor to test them out. Listened to the ElectroVoice evolve 50 and they are to my liking but kind of expensive. Will be looking for the RCF Evox J8 to give a listen. Not sure where to hear them in Houston, TX...
