New mixer to replace Vestax PMC05 - thinking Rane 62 or Pioneer S9

    PMC05 won't power on anymore
Figured it's time to upgrade to something I can finally use Serato.
I have a Technics 1210 and I already have the Serato vinyls.

I'm completely new to digital world - so I might need help here.
I know there is Serato, RecordBox, etc.
I originally was going for the Rane 62 - but I did read the S9 is a good contender.
I'm primarily a scratch DJ but will be focusing a lot of on mixing/blending and music production moving forward.

    Any other suggestions?
Anything I should look for when purchasing an old mixer?
I'd hate to buy something that dies later down the road....

I would try to fix it, you never know as it might be simple. That said, if you're set on buying something anyway, you can't go wrong with Rane.

Test before buying, or purchase with a full warranty...

Ransom has a used S9 up on the marketplace here right now if your looking to save a grip.

as a 62 owner, I'd say grab the S9 if you can. Loop section, effects and layout are just improved.

    I personally want a 72, but it's a lot of Canadian acorns.
