hey folks,

my last pair of shure replacement needles is in use now, which means i now either need a new pair of cartridges or some needles to fit on my M35X. all i have seen are shure SS35C needles, there a lot of aftermarket versions of them here in germany. but they track at 4-5g, which is a bit heavy i think. then there is jico offering the M44-7X, but shipping from japan is quiet expensive and stuff...

so the questions are:
1. does anyone know a shop in europe that sells jico needles (except thakker.eu, the only offer the SC35C)
2. buying new cartridges? if so, i would either go for the ortofon mix mk2 (low price) or the scratch mk2 (nice high output)
3. any other suggestions? any experience on aftermarket styli? will they do the job at all?

actually, i prefer headshells, but there are no real options left except the new audio technica AT-XP3 (reviews are not really good)

I really loved my M35X and now the decision is so hard
