Rane 57SL mk1 help

Hello to you all, I do hope you are having a nice day.

I purchased this mixer and am looking for some assistance regarding how to get it functioning correctly.

So far I have figured out that I pretty much connect it to my PC and decks and go from there.

I shall be doing this in a few weeks once it arrives.

In the meantime I understand that all I need to add to my current set up of 1210's etc is control vinyl. My first question is this, should the control vinyl be new and specifically for SL or does newer serato DJ control vinyl work the same? are some control vinyls better than others?

Do I need to add anything else? the rane is second hand and just has mixer and power supply.

I expect this thread to continue once I have the gear and have set it all up so thank you for taking the time to read this and any help/tips.
