Trouble with cueing on my mixer

I recently bought a used Technics SH-DJ1200, since then i've had to change the fader since it was bleeding.

My issue now is when i try to cue a song i get the music that comes through my speakers on the headphones as well.. i try to use the A and B cue system but i cant seem to get it working right.

Did you set the knob labeled "balance" all the way to cue?

Yes, i have done that. But still when i switch from A to B its still the same on the headphone as well as the speakers.

I guess i can try to explain it this way:

When i try to cue a record on B and flip the A-B switch over to B, instead of just hearing the record on my headphones i get the music out on the speakers also. I have the master/cue knob turned all the way over to cue. When i try to turn the knob some where between i get both records playing.

Odd.. it sounds like the internal wiring is all messed up.

IIRC the SH-DJ1200 was the official battle mixer for DMC World Championship so maybe some turntablist modded it?

When i bought it the spare faders were still there and it didnt seem like it had been opened before.

But if that is the case i have a issue, i'm not good at all when it comes to modding mixers etc, and here where i live (most northeren part of norway) there aint many who deals with such things.

Any suggestions to what i can try to do?
