Why dj controller is quieter than Bluetooth?

I'm using this speaker and noticed when playing through my phone on Bluetooth it's much louder than when I play with my dj controller (with RCA output). Gain on my controller is all the way up. Why does this happen?

    Equipment:
    Aiwa Exos-9 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
    Numark Mixtrack Pro 3
    No mixer

Phone is bluetooth. Controller should be standard 180mV line level out. Digital vs analogue transmission will not give the same levels.

Bluetooth is neither louder than your mixer nor quieter.
The only thing that alters the signal level is amplification.
Your bluetooth speaker has a little amplifier to set the level to exactly the level needed to get the best out of the speaker.
They set the line level at a level that will give enough headroom so that if you connect something with a really overpowered level it will not blow the speaker.
    Hence it will sound quieter.

That's why you have a volume control on the speaker. To set the volume to the correct amount based on the input received. Also explains why you should only turn the volume on the speaker loud if you are dealing with a really quiet signal.

I forgot to say, push the master up instead of the gains, they're not a volume button, more like an overall volume tool...
