I think a few here use a phone for emergencies (in case their main equipment fails), but to use a phone for your main source to DJ with, is just silly.
I tried some phone apps just to have in emergencies, but I didnt really find anything that worked for me.

I DJ with a laptop... But the question was if anyone would DJ with just a phone. I would hope that the answer is no. What joy could come out of DJing with a phone? There are no feels with a phone... or even a tablet.
Now a controller with a phone/tablet - like the Traktor S4 and iOS devices?
Maybe... But I don't use iOS.

Have you heard of DJ Player Pro DVS fellas?
I once was forced to play off an ipod and the djay app because they were having all kinds of problems getting my files onto the equipment that we were all sharing. I would not recommend having to do so willingly unless the roof was literally on fire.
