Pioneer Feedback Issue but its the cables.

Just purchased a Pioneer plx1000 and hooked it up to a DJM900NXS mixer with Neo D+ Rca cables, I seem to be getting terrible feedback through it but when I swap the cable for the stock one that came with it I get nothing, its clear. Have I missed something, I thought the Neo cable would be fine, I have used them with my XDJ1000's with no problems for ages.

Could it be (and don't shoot me) that the Neo cable is purely for digital and not analog signal?

    Cheers M

    Hi and welcome to DjF.

No, you're right and applied rule number one of problem solving, that is swapping cables and double checked. Your cable might be something built with 75 ohms impedance, which is used to carry out digital signals.

    Thanks Manu,

I thought I was loosing the plot. Excuse my ignorance but I have checked the spec sheet and there is no mention of the impedance, while I suspect you are correct, how the hell are you supposed to find this information? or do you just order from Amazon and keep sending them back lol.

Maybe triple check with a 3rd cable and rule out the culprit just in case.

about your cable, maybe you're having a ground problem.
