Smile Some Help around The Forum

Hi People, Quick question if you guys do not mind.
I am New to the Forum, been in Electronic Music since i was 13, Been a DJ part time 5 years and 2 years in Producing.
So to cut the story short. I am very big into my producing now under what link on this page can i talk and discuss production...now you might just say go under the production page.... i did have a look but i see their are different genres, and the thing is i have no idea what type of genre my music is. It is a Mix of Min-Tech , House, Electronic.. So if you get what i am saying... No Idea what Genre i fall under to speak and let people hear my music?
Some Advice on this Forum will be much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Mr Lee

    Hello,

Please refer to the FAQ here:

    http://www.djforums.com/forums/faq.p...sandguidelines

#16 - To post a mix or links to Soundcloud & Mixcloud accounts, you must have completed both of the following:
    a) Accumulate 30 posts by participating in any area of the forum.
    b) Be a member in good standing for a minimum period of 30 days.
Posting your mix in another forum section will be viewed as circumventing the rules, thus the post will be deleted and disciplinary action given.

There is a sub genre for what you describe, it is called minimal tech house.

    No worries,

What I can do is moving this thread to the beginners section, and still under the rules you may link short snippets of your work, so people can have a quick listen and tell you what genre it gets itself into...

Hi Tech, Techno & Minimal Freaks
I am new to the forum, was wondering, if i could just get some feedback on my sound? I am not really sure if its Tech, Techno, House etc. Being a DJ myself for a while, and new to the producing... But there are so much genres its unreal....
i posted a soundcloud link to a track of my sound. (please note all my tracks are produced on a celeron laptop & Headphones so might not be perfect)

For that initial feedback. Try the direct approach with friends. Discover the Dj's that play your sound, that inspire your sound and try hit them up directly.

If you really don't fit into a category, you'll fall into "Electronica"
