O__O Packing up a turntable to ship? Halp! O__O

So I have an Audio-Technica ATLP-1240 and a Denon TT kicking around that I'd be happy to sell. I've sold records before and that's a simple enough process, but does anybody here have any advice on how I would go about shipping turntables to ensure that everything is okay? Do you have any specific products that you're fans of, IE packing peanuts, bubble wrap, etc? I bought these used and don't have the original boxes. x_x Thanks

Best to use is crumpled news paper and compress them at all sides. Leaving about 3 inches thick per side. The crumpled paper is the best shock absorption to any impact, fall or mishandling. I have shipped so many turntables and this has been my method every time. Not one had a problem so far.
