Its okay for a first real track, Im listening on an ipad but the production quality sounds great. I know it’s a psy track but the intro and outro feel like they could be shortened by a minute or so, or have more samples hinting at the main melody so it feels like it is building more. It could use a more mid-centric synth layered onto the breakdown melody, the track feels like most attention was paid to the highs and lows and the midrange feels a little underwhelming versus the rest of the track. I personally thought the double bass part was a little overwhelming but it grew on me by the end of the song. The melody was cool, he can probably experiment with it a little more if he wants to refine the track.
