Could you use a BEHRINGER XENYX 502 PA MIXER to balance a cable connection?

my controller has two RCA output on the back of it and i run an RCA to XLR connection to my active speakers i was wondering if i purchased the BEHRINGER XENYX 502 if i could run RCA from my controller to TS and plug that into the behringer xenyx then run TRS to xlr from the behringer to my speakers if that would evidently make it a balanced connection or if ic ould even make that work with the Xenyx 502?? cheers

From what I can find on a quick google search, the Behringer does not do balanced output, which is what you need for XLR.

Something like this seems within your budget and looks to do the job:

Welcome to the world of Behringer, where things are disguised as better quality than they are.

I think they are, a little bit at least. I have no complaints about the Mackie Profx8 consoles I have but I have not been too impressed with the Behringer analog mixers I have used/heard.

Mixers from the lower price range hardly qualify as "good" or "better" - including mackie. I have never seen a good quality mixer under $100, it's just a compromise of cheaper components and corner cutting.
