    Swedish DJ Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, died at age 28 on Friday, April 20, his publicist confirmed.

    "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii," his publicist Diana Baron said in a statement. "He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given."

    I heard on the news a couple hours ago that he had retired a year or so ago because of poor health. I dont know if thats what caused his death today but its what was in the news.

    Just read about this too. I was never a fan of his stuff, but a massive loss none the less.

    Yea I was watching a documentary about the toll it takes on DJs who perform and travel all the time and there was a segment about him, his health, and his drinking. Way too young - I entered a remix contest for one of his tracks. I am going to remake it in his honor. RIP
