ok thanks, you can really hear the sample at 2 mins 10 seconds but just cant put my finger on it, hoping someone can help

I'm not hearing a sample, but the riff at those times are reminiscent of several EDM tracks over the past 5-10 years. I would assume that the riff is being played - not sampled.
