Pioneer mixer djm?

Good evening. Very rarely post, but always troll the site for tips, tricks and a good general read.
Need to update my budget 2 channel mixer to something more updated and 4 channels. I have been looking between the Pioneer djm 900 nexus, 900 nexus 2 and the djm 2000. Probably looking at a used model on all 3. This will probably be the last mixer purchase lol, so I want to make sure I have all angles covered. I have 2 x CDj 2000 and a technics 1210. Any information, opinions or general advice would be gratefully appreciated and accepted.

I would go with the 900, a nexus1 matches the cdj2000s really wel. If you have nexus2s then they will line up well with the 900nx2. I personally use the djm800 and its been awesome as well, especially for bedroom.

Thanks for your reply. Will I be missing out any features having the 900 nexus and not the nexus 2? Possibly able to get a 900 nexus for £850

What are you using it for? Whats your style? I honestly use the mixer as a straight mixing board and 95% of all the bells and whistles and effects ot has do not appeal to my style. I would be completely happy on a djm400

I mainly mix house music, disco and jackin house too. I like to use loops and acapellas. Need 4 channels, but would like a mixer that will give me the tools to add more creativity if and when I need it.

DB4, MP2015, or an analog rotary that being in Europe you are very close to a number of models on.

I've come across the reloop Rmx 80 mixer. It's 500 quid brand new and the reviews I've come across have been very good. Same set-up as the Pioneer djm 900 range, but quarter of the price. Has anyone used or owned one of these? Any feedback on them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You have CDJ-2000s & 1210s. So get a decent mixer for your set up. You can't compare the Reloop to the DJM900. Function, build and sound quality.

The only reason I am considering this is the price and it is brand new. Any issues and it is under guarantee. Buying used I'mnot sure how well a mixer would have been looked after before I buy it. Thanks

Brand new and warranty doesn't make up for the quality and build. You'll end up spending more once you get fed up sending the mixer to service when it breaks. The warranty will expire and you'll eventually buy a decent mixer and regret wasting your money, time and effort on the previous purchase. You can always look for used gear and test them first before buying. Or let the seller sign a waiver in case the unit is not in good condition and ask for refund.

Like I said, get a decent mixer because you have decent (industry standard) players. Check Ecler and Rane aside from Pioneer.
