Cool Ear pain while using Pioneer HDJ 500 headphones

    Hi guys

When I’m using hdj500, my back edge of earlobe is in pain - but only right ear. Is there any way to eliminate that pain, or should I change headphones for smaller size (cause hdj500 it’s quite big)?
I want to make sure, before I’ll spend some money which might be useless

    HDJ500 are on-ear headphones I think.
Maybe look at some headphones that are over-ear.
Preferably made by a company that is know for making good headphones for DJs.
There are plenty of examples about.
bored, curious, deaf or just bad taste in music?
    finally a mix by me
and what's this, another shoddy mix...another dull mix

They're small on ears headphones. Get some circumaural ones.

Circumaural might be a good idea for me, but I don’t like really much big headphones. I would like to try small on ears headphones, but I’m afraid a bit, cause I might have pain again

If it hurts now, it will hurt later. My advice above still stands.

I have some numark headphones for 8 quid, but I never used it earlier. These headphones are kind of “small on ear headphones” and I’ve tried to use them yesterday in the evening, and I didn’t had any pain, which it’s a good news for me. Maybe Its worth it to try some better quality “small” on ear headphones, hopefully everything will be fine.
