1 Krk rokit8 g1 is a lot lower volume output than the other

As title states and I have tested using the same master output channel as the monitor, I’ve switched to other channel as well, I’ve also tested with the same 1/4 jack cable and switched out between 3 jacks, I’ve tested with RCA and the monitor is just low and the other sounds great. I can barely hear the highs and mids and the other is loud and clean and full of highs and mids. Does anyone what could be the cause?? I have a rane ttm56 mixer , Serato DJ, windows 10 on a DVS system, using audiotechnica 1240 turntables. Any ideas would be appreciated , thank you

Stick your ear near the tweeter of the busted speaker when it is playing.

Can't hear the highs coming directly into your ear from the tweeter?
    Your tweeter is busted.
bored, curious, deaf or just bad taste in music?
    finally a mix by me
and what's this, another shoddy mix...another dull mix

Knobs on the back are both set to the same positions?

    Volume and Cutoff.

You were right, it seems to be the tweeter. I orders one for $18 and thank you for the tip. I bought 2 the two 8” for $80 and with $18 tweeter I’m I’m at about $100. Still not a bad deal.

Tweeters are often the first thing to go on a speaker when a high level signal is passed through them.
They are fragile and only accept low voltages.
Go easy on the volume, especially those high frequencies.

It may be worth your while to open the speaker and check it is not just a bad connection (wire loose) with the tweeter connection.
However, it is more than likely when you open it up you will see a burnt tweeter voice coil.

I would pop the tweeter out and check it on its own, quicker and easier. Mind you it's probably toast. As above, go easy on high frequencies combined with volume for anything that's not PA, or run the risk to burn some.
