I'm a starting out DJ, hoping to gig at some point, but for now just practicing chained to my desktop with Serato Intro.I picked up my first controller, an open-box Terminal Mix 2, last month($120 from GC!), and have been enjoying it thus far.
I'm mainly into hip-hop/scratching and EDM(is that a taboo word around here? not sure yet.). Planning on sticking with Serato when the time comes to upgrade my software. Traktor seemed promising, but I couldn't get past the poor implementation of the otherwise-phenomenal jogs on the TM.(Seems like it over-smooths the input somehow. Can't be as precise with it.)
