Smile Is there some people that use Audacity as their only way to produce DJ songs?

Everything is said in the question

if not, wwhich software do you use to complete Audacity? And which effect do you use the most? Reverb? Echo? Slow down? Speed up?

Audacity is a sound editor, not a DAW (digital audio workstation).

I've read the books like How to DJ right... to learn about... beatmatching, phrasing w/e , Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire but when I go to mix...

And I'm afraid DAWs are just not simple, there is a learning curve. I'm fairly comfortable using Logic pro, but then I use a bunch of other stuff for different tasks and purposes.

I use Cubase 9. I know it well. It's complex and it needs to be. Making songs is an extreme task.

this guy is not talking about producing (I think something got lost in translation...)
he's actually taking about mixing tracks using Audacity.
I'm thinking he wants to get into DJing without spending any money.
While technically possible using Audacity, it would be a very boring experience.
bored, curious, deaf or just bad taste in music?
    finally a mix by me
and what's this, another shoddy mix...another dull mix

thank you for your answers. Lol KLH, what is this living link? I'm going to try Cubase 9 even if it is very complex at the beginning. And yes, I don't have money enough at this time to get a real hardware, so I do the best with what I've got.

In all seriousness, Imageline Deckadance is your best bet. It's FREE!!! and is every bit as good as Traktor. Infact it allows VST's and Bluetooth. You can open up Deckadance as a VST in Deckadance. Yes, that's worded right. With Bluetooth you could connect your wii remote to the FX. And Deckadance can use any Timecode vinyl from any Manufacturer.

Imageline makes Fruity Loops. So yes, it will get the job done. for FREE!!!!!

I have spun records using 2 laptops, Deckadance and Traktor, and 4 turntables, at the same time. I can attest to its abilities.
