    Thumbs up External Mixer Recommendation?

Preferably looking for something rack-mountable and not ridiculously huge/expensive. I plan on having a wireless mic system in the future, maybe a couple extra inputs if I'm doing work with a live band, etc. Thanks!

Not rack mount, but I've been using this one for the last couple of years and love it. Perfect for my corporate gigs with multiple wireless mics and for multiple music sources

Looks great - what do you like about it specifically? Anything in particular?

For the price point, it's hard to beat. Yamaha reliability, on board effects, 10 channels, USB sound in and out, multiple input connections

    External Mixer Recommendation?

I just put a Denon DN-410X in my large rack system, and it is an awesome mixer. I have 4 mics, my main controller, and one computer plugged in, plus I can use the Bluetooth if I need to play something from my phone or tablet.

Oh bluetooth - nice! Didn't even think about that as being an option. Easy way to provide a backup almost instantly in case of equipment failure.

external mixers are great for mics as mic inputs on DJ mixer suck, the gain is just too low as well.

The mic inputs on DJ controllers suck bad in general.. very poor sound overall and way too easy to over drive. I have a couple Mackie ProFx 8 mixers that I send out with DJ kits, they are virtually the same as the Yamaha above and have been solid reliable.

Hahaha so true on controller mic input part... I recently experienced this with two separate gigs. It is a real pain.
