    Yes he did.. that's when one stops being a beginner at matching beats. But if one thinks that's the be all and end all of dj'ing. THEY ARE STILL A BEGINNER! Anyone who disagrees is also very much a beginner. There's so much someone learns working the field that no amount of bedroom twiddling will teach you. In many cases you can throw all those rules out the window... Do i like that fact... NO! but it's still very true.

    Edit: I suppose he doesn't mention beats but I presume that's what he means.
