    "Traditional, familiar turntable layout"

Except for the Start / Stop, 33 / 45 buttons. And despite the fact I use my TT's battle style, I'm not sure the pitch is in the best postition for DVS users. All the said, I'd really like to see this in the flesh.

You could always rotate it to standard position. This unit is in a primary Battle position.

These midi turntables are designed in battle mode because they are meant to be paired either the battle ready Seventy Two. It's also about saving space. When you purchase them, you can set them up however you like.

My mate has the numark V7's and is debating with himself weather he should buy CDJ2000s or the new denons or even go back to technics (sold his mark 5g's to a mutual friend and regretted it ever since), so I've just forwarded this to him because I reckon these would be perfect for him if they come out. Plus I'd want him to buy them so I can play on them.

Why, they aren't anything like a CDX? (They don't even play CDs.) They are pretty much just Rane's version of a Numark V7.
But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.
    Then it was 5, then 6, then 7, then 9, then 10, then 7, and then 9.
