streaming with a mobile phone is good qaulity possible?

Phone: Sansung Galaxy S7 Curve with Android 7.0
Wanting to stream to: facebook ( maybe other things in the future)
Source: phono output from ddjrb, happy to buy a converter if needed etc

Just wondering if this is possible, HD stereo sound using only my android phone and a home wifi connection, most of the convertor things for mobiles seems apple only or the software that comes with them is apple only.

    Thanks

Prefer the Microsoft Phone for its Quality. Need a Phono to Line converter preamplifier. Check out B & H for accessories

No, phono out in the UK means RCA stereo line out.

I use an iRig 2 and my iPhone to livestream on FB and it works great... Just make sure your phone has a headphone jack...

What you want to do is to connect a usb sound interface of some reasonable quality to your phone.. and in later versions of Android this is possible using an OTG adapter for your phone.. this lets you use the phone as a USB host and plug things into it like sound interfaces, memory sticks, etc.. whatever Android supports or whatever you can make it support with additional drivers.

One of the cheaper interfaces is the Behringer U Control, I'm not a big B fan in general, but for streaming it's prob more than ok.

I have NOT tried this so don't assume anything, I am just telling you what is possible, not what I know for sure works.

Then you need a streaming app that will let you select the video source and the audio source separately, and here's an article which will give you some clues on one you can try:

In this article they talk about how to take both video and audio from an HDMI camera via OTG cable + an HDMI-USB adapter. In your case I think you want just the audio via OTG and video from the phone camera.. and the Camera Fi Live app supposedly does this. There's a free version so you can try it.
