I came in my pants a little when I saw that Aly & Fila were added. I'm getting VIP tix the moment they go on sale.

I am going to book my hotel soon and i am looking at the Radisson in Toronto. Seems to be right near the water which should be a cool view. Wondering how cab rates are? Or should i just rent a car?

Never been to Toronto so a little help is appreciated!

Public tranist. There is a subway stop right at Downsview where the festival will be. Since it goes during the day and doesn't end late, the subways will still be open.

Straight up dude, Its gonna be cheapest and easiest to use the TTC subways and bus's. You can get to the doors of VELD just by hopping on the subway (20min ride) (: Taxi's are generally $10 + about a $1 per KM. Sooooo its hella expensive(about $50+ to VELD x 4 times cuz of there and back 2 days soo $200). Renting cars is a pain as its just mayhem to drive in the city (cant turn here, cant turn there, go round in circles) witch is heavy on gas. Your call though man, just my 2 cents.

As for when your not doing VELD, everythings within walking distance anyways (clubs, shopping, foods, attractions ect..) from where your staying at (awesome hotel btw)

Will have to look into the subway. The hotel prices seem expensive? Like $250+ a night. What time is the festival?

Its downtown its gonna be expensive :S And the festivals gates open around 11:30AM and it will start at 12:00PM and end around Midnight (as its a residential area sorta ) so you got a full solid 12 hours each day, However you can enter and exit as you please aswell
