    Which moving heads?

I currently have 8 Martin mx4s and am thinking of dropping 2-4 and adding 2 moving heads. I just started doing some research and this has just made me more confused with the number of options. I'm leaning towards LED fixtures just so I don't trip a breaker. I'm looking at spending under 700 bucks a fixture and don't mind buying used. What are user opinions on the qspot 260? Also, would I be better off getting the smaller qspot 160? Other options? I know these aren't high end fixtures but I will likely only be using them approx. 8-10 times a year.

I'm not a fan of Q-Spots myself, but if you're only using them a couple times a year, then it's not a bad investment. I would try to get a look at them before you buy them though just to make sure they are what you're looking for. To me, they are just too small and have to narrow of a beam, however, others have sworn by them, so it really comes down to personal preference I think.

The Q-spot 160 is already outdated by the Intimidator Spot 250 LED.

You've also got the Vizi Spot's, Intimidator Spot 350 LED's, and the new Blizzard Ice 60. Those are all around the same price range, in addition to the Q-spot 260.

Is there any clear winner or any unit that I should stay away from at this price point?

The intimidator spot 250 LED is a great mobile DJ Light. I have 2 and really like them. Will be buying 2 more soon. Got them for $550 at IDjNOW.

Or you could buy my Martin Minimac profiles which will compliment your MX4s perfectly for $500 ea. there is no way in hell the 160s or vizi spots will keep up with your MX4s in terms of output. I know because I can sell you lightly used vizi spots for $500 ea. as well.
