to be honest, I didn't listen to your mix because putting songs together in a program takes little to no skill. I feel like many others on this site won't bother to give you any feedback because there isn't anything to give feed back on. ONce you get some equipment and can showcase LIVE beat matching, EQing, etc etc, then post a mix.

    +1. We'll be here waiting.

The reason for this is that DJs need to be able to read a crowd and determine what THEY want to hear and (ideally) work that track into the mix so that the energy flows from the playing song to the next song.

Now that you know how software can do it, the next step is for YOU to do it.

LOL "DJ Forums" is no stranger to VDJ, so we don't really need to see what you're using. Besides, most freeware dj software out there runs pretty much the same way, same features.

If you're tapping "sync" at all, you've failed and I'd even personally say you're nowhere near being a DJ..... yet. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but there are at least 5-6 threads that are pretty much a carbon copy of this one that pop up here on the forums every week. Stick around for a while, browse some threads first, pick up some tips, learn the real way things are done. Then when you're confident enough, upload a mix.

what people are saying Moga is useing programs like virtual dj is to easy and doesnt replicate djing very well,

before i got my turntable i tried virtual dj and even a dj controller and to be fair my mixing wasnt pretty spot on after about 3 weeks without sync.

iv had turntable about a year now (i mix vinyl) and its completly different and i still cant mix perfectly there is real skill involved in the art of djing,

although you may have mastered the software try and save up and get some gear and youl know what i mean ...

    good luck dude

I honestly doubt that, and if you tried doing the same mix using real decks and a mixer you would understand. It's similar to those kids I see playing call of duty then thinking they're all badass snipers. Don't trick yourself thinking that way, VDJ has virtual as part of it's name.

You need to improve on EQing, keeping an eye on levels, using effects + other DJing techniques (do your research), making a solid track selection and last but not least: For someone who says he's been at it for a year and is very good at it: I'd expect more than just 3 autosynced eurodance tracks running a total time of 13 minutes. After a year on VDJ you should be able to do at least an hour. This was uneventful and does not reflect a year's worth of DJing. Try harder.
