    The Chuck Berry Megamix! R.I.P.

The one and only beat mixed Chuck Berry Megamix! I came up with this mix about 3 years ago, when I heard he was in bad health. I took all his big hits, and beat mixed them back to back, in a nice, smooth, mega mix. If you are a Chuck Berry fan, you need to take a listen to this mix to pay your respects to the legend.

Thanks for commenting. Yeah he died today. I make a lot of these single artist medley, if they have enough hits to put a mix together. I usually do it, right after they die. I thought Chuck was going to die a few years ago, so I made this mix back then, but he hung on until today. I'm a huge Chuck Berry fan. Here is what I wrote on my Facebook page:

Man what a loss! Chuck Berry! My favorite artist of all time! The guy that started it all! I got to see Chuck in his prime, in Austin, about 25 years ago. He is the only artist that I know of, that did live concerts, and had no band. If you hired him, you supplied the band. He just showed up with his guitar. No rehearsal either. This isn't a problem, since most musician know his songs, and they all basically sound the same. You need to pay him in advance, and in cash too. When I saw him, the band was on stage. He pulls up in a limo, gets out, plugs in. Says "I'm Chuck Berry" one, two, three, four, and starts his famous guitar riff, and belts out Maybellene, and it sounds like he has been playing with that band all his life. Incredible talent. R.I.P. Chuck Berry, your music will live on forever!
