    ... not a fan of pitching up mixes, try and keep them around their origional tempo, 170 - 176 ish

    I was lucky enough to afford a djm600 back in the day and lots of uk d and b. The early stuff, mid nineties- early 2000's was quite a bit slower than my 2001-2008 records. I remember Kaos mixing records at 180bpm + maxing out the 1200 at +8% pitch, that's about the only dj that sticks out to my memory that deviated from 175. From what I can remember 175 was always the number. Not steadfast but ideal.
