Welcome to DJ Forums!

This is where we'd like you to tell us about yourself, let us welcome you to the community, meet new people, network with other DJs and find your true love! Lurkers are welcomed too!!!

If you are struggling to write about yourself then just think what you'd respond to an interviewer asking you these questions to get you started:

Where you are based?
How old you are?
What do you do for a living?
Have you had any experience in DJing or are you just getting started?
Who has influenced you musically?
What are your other interests?
Where are you favourite places to go?
Have you got a super power?

Before making your first post, we do advise you to have a good read through the DJ Forums Rules & Guidelines. (click here)

Our main objective here is to provide help & advice to other DJs etc. This is not a place to drop off your mixes. We expect every member to participate in the main objective of the sites purpose. Generally speaking, posting your mixes is a privilege you earn here by participating in the forum by helping other members.

If your first (and only) post is "check out my site" or any other link it WILL be deleted. The same goes for members looking for DJs. Threads like that will be considered spam and removed.

To post a mix or links to Soundcloud & Mixcloud accounts, you must have completed both of the following:
a) Accumulate 30 posts by participating in any area of the forum.
b) Be a member in good standing for a minimum period of 30 days.
Posting your mix in another forum section will be viewed as circumventing the rules, thus the post will be deleted and disciplinary action given.

Beginner mixes can be posted in the beginners section only, but must be no more than 10 minutes in length. Mixes longer than 10 minutes will be viewed as circumventing rule 16, will be deleted & disciplinary action will be issued.

Enjoy your time on the forums, and don't be afraid to PM a member of the team if you're unsure on the rules.
