Need help DJing my first wedding

I have a wedding coming help in a couple of weeks and I'm kind at odds of what I should be saying on the mic. I've got the hole bridal partay introductions down and everything but I'm still confused on what I should say on the mic for the toasts, money dance, garter toss, bouqet toss, cake cutting. Any tips would be great.

You ever tagged along with another DJ?

Nope and I don't really have time to. I have to DJ this wedding in a few weeks and I have no idea what I am suppose to say on the mic for the those events. Can anyone share what they usually say on the mic for each of those events. Thanks

Hire a MC for the job, learn from him and practice for your next gig.

That's not an option. I need to know what to say on the MIC. Can someone please help me with what I should say for each of the dances?

To be honest, no one can suggest what exactly you have to say. Every wedding is different. You need skills to manage mic, that's why MC exists.

I think you should watch a couple of youtube videos of other MCs at weddings to get an idea, but the others are right we can't tell you exactly what to say.

First dance - i like to say something like "Love is a series of first, the first time you meet, the first time you kiss, the first time you say i love you, and the first dance at your wedding, please give a big round of applause for mr. and mrs. ..."

Father daughter - "please welcome father of the bride and his beautiful daughter to the dance floor"
    Mother Son - see above

Garter - we need all men to come out and try to catch this garter
Bouquet - all my single ladies out to the dance floor (play single ladies) beyonce thank you, we needed a song like this

Just watch some wedding DJs on youtube. Its not THAT hard. The most important thing to do, despite how nervous you are, is to sound confident on the mic.

Good advice so far. Is it bad to say when the bridal party is being introduced " the name of the girl being escorted by the name of the guy" this would be said for the bridemaids and groomsman. thnks

That sounds fine. But if you have a big wedding party, don't get repetitive.
