mixing sampled songs with the song that samples them

I haven't tried it yet,but wondering if within a fun mix, you might drop a premixed mashup like that. If so, what songs? I'm thinking of stuff where at least one of the songs is well known.

If only one song is well known, the effect I would try for is playing the less known song first and mix in the sampled song over the sample effectively hijacking it, at least for a bit. I picture in my head seeing people in the crowd looking confused then smiling when they realize what just happened.

Oh, and remakes/originals too... like Dead or Alive and Flo Rida.

I call it "old school/new school" mixing. It doesn't matter what record you start with. It just depends to the tracks and the mix.

Example:
Missy Elliott/Ciara/Fatman Scoop "Lose Control" into Cybertron "Clear"
Steve Winwood "Valerie" into Eric Prydz "Call On Me" (or vice-versa with this other version of "Call On Me")

Oh, and remakes/originals too... like Dead or Alive and Flo Rida.
