    Cheap simple 4 channel mixer

I'm looking to get a mixer for a mobile DJ company. I will be running a laptop with an external sound card and want to have inputs for two mics.
    That's it. Very basic.
I'm hoping I can get something decent for under $300.
I've looked online and seen some mixers...a Numark...Vestax has been recommended. After so many comments on here, I'm scared to go near anything with the word Behrenger on it.

    What say you guys?

Man, you're right. You can't even get a DDM4000 under 300. Not to mention he doesn't want to go Behringer.

Decent 4 channel mixers are available but they are not DJ mixers. Allen & Heath makes the Zed 10 that offers 4 mono mic/line + 2 active DJ + 3 stereo line inputs for $ 249.00.

Phonic offers the AM 83 offering two Mic/line inputs and two stereo inputs for $ 109.00

I was just joking but if you really want a $300 mixer, just go buy a used mixer. You can even get a djm 500 for that much, I know you can get a vestax cheapo pmc. Just be a bit patient, they're definitely out there.

I use the American Audio Q Spand Pro in two of my racks and an American Audio Q SD in another with no complaints. The only thing I find annoying on many of these mixers is that of 2 mic channels only one is XLR , while the other is 1/4". I used Gemini mixers in my very first 2 racks with no problems as well. They just didn't have the features of the more expensive units. Of course if you have the $ go for a better unit than a Gemini. A buddy of mine won't touch Numark after several break downs and now uses Denon with good results. Are you looking for a rack mount 19" mixer or a 10 /12" table top mixer.

Increase your spending to around $650 and get the Denon DN-x1100.
