It happens. It's more underground than other genres. I've played it at festivals and clubs in New England - and there are plenty of other spots it gets played as well. It's generally not stuff in the news though. https://www.fractaltribe.org/ is a crew that has some great DJs who play it, and also book good shows (and bring in talent across the globe).

Like 8 years ago, all kinds Breaks were very popular in Washington D.C. nightclubs. But, yes, it's a little more underground. Any kind of breaks are worth playing in a nightclub here. Especially the really dirty tracks.

What artists still make psy breaks? I know there are a few tracks from the Goa artists of the 90s, but didn't think it was a thing.

thanks for the link. jammin their soundcloud now and see this weekend is their signature festival. OP, I liked your mix and wonder how current the tracks are. Hedflux and Grouch were my only experience to psy breaks, and love them.

I'm not from the states, but I am there Northern neighbour and only live a few hours from the boarder. Psy Breaks have never really been popular around here. I've never heard of a Psy breaks event going on around here even though Breaks event or Psy Trance events can do very well (at times). Breaks have came and gone a few times during the past 15 years and trance has been getting less popular during the past 10, but Psy Breaks have been no existent during my 17+years in the biz. But keep doing your thing !!!!!!
