Personally I don't find much wrong with the kick or snare. I think the hats are a bit too prominent for this kind of track. I think it's simply the track is a tad too trebly for my taste, maybe eq the whole track and warm it up a bit.

Nice effort as usual, Crush. Do you have access to stems or are you skillfully making them from the originals?

Thanks for the tips on the eq broski! I'm still fiddling around with it till I find that sweet spot. As far as the stems for this track, I sampled the original (((Good or bad))) part beat grid/chopped and looped it for the backing groove. I purchased the complete track with each element of the track separated into it's own track. I wanted the vocal only, but once you purchase the track you're able to select any stem you'd like for download, anytime you like.
