Good places to listen to house music in Detroit

I really need to get out more. So with the weather getting more....tolerable...I figured I'd go out to some house nights.

Now when I say "house", I mean Chicago, jack, tech, deep...not big room.

I'm looking for a relaxed atmosphere, but even a good club setting will do. Anyone know any good places to go in the Detroit area?

Try Grasshopper Underground

Yea, Grasshopper has some good House nights and its more of a bar feel to it, and is all about the local music scene. Often gets great local and national guest DJ's.

MIXX BAR in Greektown Thursday, Friday nights.

The Works is doing some pretty big things right now too. But it's more of an after party spot, but it's def the hottest night venue I think right now. Pretty sure it's Friday nights.
