    Maybe at least 3 minutes...
    Maybe something in common that we could all have to use so there's a basis for comparison? A Loop, sound... something like that?

    I think last time it was maybe too strict, with the pre-defined sample pack and everyone was limited to that. Immediately caused cheaters and ended up just going nowhere. But I do think at least a few samples that you have to use might be cool

    yea, could browse through all the sampleradar collections, theres enough variation in there to find a few standard samples, and then a few off the wall ones

    Which is why you don't do samples (or do one really obvious one to watermark the mix) and instead do a genre no one practices this way there's no cheating and everyone starts off on poor footing.
