    Feedback

I am looking for some genuine feedback on my mixing, track selection, transitions, volume levels and so on.

I have been spinning vinyl for around 8 months using two technics 1210's mk2's, a DJM- 250 mixer and a couple of pioneer monitors. I am not scared to make mistakes as from these I learn and move forward. I am looking for people who will have the time to listen to my mixes and give me constructive criticism both positive and negative so I can continue my journey in something I have a passion and love.

Please use this link to have a listen to some of my recent mixes:

Much respect to all people using this site, for we just want to put smiles on faces and take people on a musical journey that can take them away from the day to day living where they can relax, let their hair down and dance their ass off!!

Had a quick listen to your latest mix and it's a very cool set.

Some transitions were better than others, levels were not bad!
Really play around with the eqs when mixing this makes such a difference throughout transitions especially in house music. (Something I'm just starting to play a lot more of especially deep and tech house)

But for 8 months of djing and on tts and vinyl your certainly on the right track.
Keep it up mate and keep enjoying it.

Hi Timmbo, firstly thank you for taking time to listen to some of my mixes.

Yes I have just started to play with the high, medium and low range myself. I am hoping as you listen to different mixes you will spot me trying to use these but a long way to go yet.

I love the House sound of cool instruments and beautiful voices but love a deep track with a groovy or deep bassline!!

Thank you once again Timmbo I will keep at it!!

I highly recommend the battle section. It's good clean fun and a great way to get real feedback on your mixes.

Timmbo is the speed and tempo my mixes are at too fast, too slow or sound okay?

    Speed sounded fine to me.
After years of listening to trance I'm gradually getting slower. Only been at it myself about a year or so. Played a few sets out playing electro house but now I myself have moved on to deep house and tech house. I like to play around the 123-128 bpm mark. (Speeding up as my set progresses)
My electro house sets often started at 130 going up to 135.
Key is a major point as this alone can lift or drop the set.
