Cheap excuses why I suck:
Before the comments start, originally I had 18tracks in 45min when i did this 2 months ago; for this battle I ended up with 17 tracks over 55min (so yeah I know I was slow especially on the 1st song which should have been 3min tops)
and I know that 1st bit of scratching was pitiful, as soon as I put the record on I knew the tiny lil closet in my brain that stores my scratching knowledge had a locked door on it (the original set had a few routines scattered throughout but I scrapped all of them after that first bit)
And finally, I know there are tons of annoying backspins lol
(but the point of battling is to be a bit obnoxious I think)
Still overall I think this was my best take, I'm not a scratch battle dj, had takes with better tricks and takes with better scratching but they also had a lot more mistakes overall
So unless I were to edit, there is no way I could ever do mixing, scratching, and tricks perfect for something this long
Despite all that, I'm still pretty confident that I'll kick Monk's ass
