Need New Flight Cases for Techs. Anyone try the Lux Road Ready Cases?

I was moving a pair of my techs and one of the handles on my one gator case completely broke off (screws came out) and my one table went flying in front of me. *Sad face*. I'm not sure if I can fix it but I almost don't want to and get better cases anyway. I've had these ones for some time now and I think it's time to put them away anyway.

So I've been shopping around and I am concerned mostly about protection (obvious), but also staying conscious of weight. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Road Ready Lux series of cases (http://store.roadreadycases.com/dyn_...1200B&k=449142), as well as the Clydesdale cases (http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-s...AdIdZ350983048). I'm kind of moving towards the RR Lux because the Clydesdales seem kind of weak on the build... I noticed the latches are briefcase style vs. butterfly, and the handle is also briefcase style.

Anyone have any experience with either of these or have any other suggestions?

Let me know! Also if anyone wants 1 gator case that fits a variety of TTs let me know lol.

I have the road ready cases. I got them this past summer and glad i made the investment. A little heavy but I know my techs are protected. I can't speak about the clydesdale cases though.

You have the Lux Edition ones? They say that those ones are supposed to be 35% lighter than other similar style cases.

I too am looking for cases, but they're crazy pricy in Ottawa. I think I need to head out to TO or MTL

I think they are priced about the same everywhere. I'm heading to MTL in a couple weeks so I might check while I'm there but I'm thinking of going through acclaim-music and trying to price match somewhere else. They're usually pretty good. They don't have the Road Ready Lux Cases though. Not that many places do have them and I can't find any info on them either.

I have the basic road ready cases for my techs, and mixer. Didn't even know there was a lux version to be honest with you (might be new?).

I bought the cases when I got my equipment, and I'll swear by it. The things are tanks of cases, and while a bit heavy, sure beats the hell out of a coffin. I'd buy them again if I needed to, but I doubt I'll ever have to.
