Regardless of how anybody feels about these huge music festivals me and some friends are adding one night as a part of our Vegas trip this June. Has anyone on here gone to the EDC - Vegas trip, if so, did you do VIP? I don't want to hear people comment on how VIP is for yuppies or any of that shit. I went to Together As One and was DAMN glad I did VIP. The GA was way too crowded and you couldn't get anywhere without being moshed from what I could see. I'm hoping the EDC VIP areas has decent bars but if it is just a joke then we'll just go GA and save the money for gambling and drinking.

I heard the VIP package includes hotel stay at Circus Circus.... If thats true, then thats not VIP thats VI-SHIT, as Circus Circus in Swahili means "shit hole hotel." If thats true, and thats the hotel thats part of that deal, I would recommend you go GA. UNLESS there are other better perks that come with it, and that at that point, just pick a better place to stay.

I went last year GA and I had a lot of fun. Last year the VIP section looked cool, but it was really detached. You had an awesome view of the main stage, but that's about all I noticed. I think if you don't have any intention of meeting new people, or like dancing around with random folks then VIP is for you. I think it was a little too detached for me.

Not true. You can buy the tickets separately or buy packages that include different hotels. We're only buying a single day so we didn't do a package deal. Got a great deal on a room through their site though. I'll die before I stay at Circus Circus.

VIP for us is usually more so that we can go hang back away from the crowd when we want to grab drinks. I enjoy going out and meeting people but having a shorter line for drinks is phenomenal.

We're doing a road trip out there and have booked the hotel. Just waiting for single day tickets to go on sale!
