    Jazz-Funk/Fusion + Cosmic Shit

    everything from miles & herbie's electric period to george duke & idris muhammad, even "progressive rock" like camel that borrows jazz arrangement techniques works. strange, 'cosmic' jazz too if ya got it. pretty broad but you should get the idea. would love to hear some tracks and artists i've slept on. here's a few to start:

    Ronnie Laws - Always There, one of the early earth wind & fire members, record produced by wayne henderson:


    Lenny White - Prince Of The Sea, looove this piece:


    George Duke - For Love (I Come Your Friend), doom flipped this one really nicely on 'i hear voices':


    Sun Ra - That's How I Feel, amazing album but this cut in particular oozes funk:

    Yeah man, this was one of my favourite releases last year ( on the Stones Throw label ) Here is another cut that I'm feeling. It is more electro jazz type sound ( and quite long ) but still quite nice.
