Alright guys, just listened to all 3 mixes. I could immediately tell who was who by the style of music you guys played, but I'm going to make this at least bias as possible.
1 - By far my favorite track selection out of the 3. I loved a lot of the tracks you dropped. Your transitions were ok, a lot of it was just fading out the currently playing track. My only advice from me personally is to maybe steer away from this genre's anthems. I heard a lot of tracks that came from Spinnin' Records
2 - A lot of melbourne bounce tracks here! Another favorite genre of mine (I wish I knew what this genre's anthems were haha). Transitions were long and kept the mood going. Overall great mix. Maybe throw in a few recognizable tracks and/or throw some acapellas on top of your tracks? I feel like that would make your mix stunning.
3 - I loved the atmosphere you were trying to create. That fun, happy, uplifting kinda atmosphere? It gave your mix a sense of direction. I liked that. Another great idea was to play remixes of pop songs. If you played those to a crowd, you'd have them singing to the track aswell as dancing Transitions on this one were a bit better than Mix 1, but still could use some work.
Honestly guys, this was a really tough battle to judge. The only advice I could give to you guys is to change up your transitions. Try a new effect that you don't have a lot of experience with. Also, throw a couple curveballs. What I mean by that is to drop something the crowd totally wasn't expecting, like well known vocals of a track and drop them onto another one. It makes people go wild.
My vote goes to Mix 2. On technical skills, it shined brighter than the other two mixes. It also had a lot of new tracks I haven't heard before which in my book is a good thing (I left my phone on Auto-Shazam mode for this mix haha).
For Mixes 1 and 3, great job. You guys did a lot of things right and not a lot of wrong, but just a few things tweaked and these mixes would be unjudgeable. Best of luck to you in the future
