Someone will pay to see it... just no-one intelligent. What an absolutely ridiculous idea. As if there weren't talented DJ's in abundance everywhere.
This is my signature.
I see the future now. A bleak, brightly lit, crowded warehouse where everyone wears "Second-life" virtual reality headsets and wifi-connected headphones to listen to a DJ halfway around the world amid a virtual audience. All alcohol to be given IV.
This is my signature.
This is very similar to the "see live events at your theater while it's live elsewhere". To my knowledge that's not successful because people want to see a live show in front of them, not on a screen...
... but with this generation being glued to tablets and phones, it may be acceptable ten years from now.

I've read the books like How to DJ right... to learn about... beatmatching, phrasing w/e , Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire but when I go to mix...
what will dj's who play the same playlist week after week do?
you might be able to get a pay per view type thing, but you can just go online nowadays to find live feeds of famous djs for a house party.

When we start populating Mars or Venus in the near future, this will have to happen---a remote feed from earth. It will cost $1,000's to
send Tiesto to Mars and that my friend cuts into the profit margin.
Currently doing this remote feed from earth, city to city is low tech small potatoes bullsh*t. Welcome to the internet age, now go home and wear your Members Only jacket.

I did a blog on this and basically slammed it as being useless except to those who can just play a preplanned set and not have to have any crowd reading skills.
Maybe I am wrong. Doubt it though.
