Need help adjusting tecnics 1210s for serato

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on adjusting my tables...i have new control vinyl and new butterug mats and the record still feels way too tight....any suggestions. Im an open format dj and i need to adjust for blends and cutting...thanks so much

What do you mean by too tight? Records not slippy enough? Try flipping the records over. If they are slightly warped then one side will feel tighter than the other. If the centre hole is too tight on the spindle then it can be opened out by carefully using a rat tail file.

As for the turntables there's not much you can change. You're already using Butter Rugs which are about as slippy as you can get. An old dodge is to put a sheet of wax paper under the slip mat, that might be worth a try.
