Thread: (Another) Mixer Advice

  1. #11
lol shit my ecler advice was for someone else in another thread. oops. well I do like the Pioneer models the 800 is pretty common so I've played on it quite a few times. Considering I'm a bit of an equipment snob I would bitch about them if I had a complaint but I really don't have Any complaint at all about the Pioneer mixers. If they had EQs and metering and gain structure like the Ecler I'd be ecstatic but that's not a complaint that's a preference.

As I posted in the other thread today I think the Denon 1600 sucks, but then I don't use traktor so for me it offers nothing that other mixers don't do better.

I'm looking to use this mainly with rekordbox and vinyl, but still want the capability to hook up to traktor scratch, so all your input is useful. Currently waiting for a djm 850 for a good price, or an x1600 that I can resell if I don't like.

Been looking into the Eclers, and the NUO 4.0 actually seems to be a nice mixer. I already have an RMX-500 so will make use of the great looking send/returns. Do you / anyone else have any experience with this?

It would mean I would have to pick up an Audio 4/6, but that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

    Another spanner.

The A&H DB2 looks really nice, anyone have strong opinions on it?

    Current state of play - DJM 850, X1700 or Xone DB2 + Audio4

Ordered! (Cheers Micky for pointing that in my direction)

From what I can tell, it's the usual 7 day cancellation period, but I am looking forward to giving this a go.

Worst case scenario that I don't get on with it, I can always sell it for a similar price to what I bought it for on gumtree or where ever.
