It's just different from us. A 110v fixture that I use wouldn't work over there, so buying used from North America is out of the question.

Yes thats a no brainer. Buying used from America even at below the belt rates would be meaningless considering what id have to pay for shipping overseas.

But to finally simplify this. If i get 10 nos of 54x3w led (35 deg beam angle), will i be able to cover at least about 20'x15' with the kind of subdued front lighting effect as shown in the pic http://static.flickr.com/94/282887192_8449f5f383.jpg.

You could probably do it with 2.. with 10 they're gonna be dimming them down to about 20%.

Paul, you mean they'd be so bright that we'd have to keep them at 20% brightness only ?
Thats a good thing then, because then i could probably use them at 100% for larger stages also. Not very large, but maybe 40'x20'.

Im planning on using them only for front lighting and there will be no other front/general lighting. I would use my 8 moving heads (i have 10, so id keep 2 for redundancy) as back lighting. So this plan is workable right ?
