Just got back from an old-school show (I was a punter as we say, in the crowd groovin') I'm too old to stay n party these days.. this is still going on now, thought I'd share some pics..

Sorry for the blurriness; on my phone after some cans.
That's whats goin' down in Adelaide tonight. Don't say we don't do stuff.
Peace

^wow even Adelaide is cooler than south east queensland.... that is worrying...
edit: to clarify, the Brisbane scene is really promising at the moment in the way of instrumental hip hop/experimental electronic - not really sure how great the clubs are overall.
It's just the Gold Coast that is a complete hole...

to clarify the pictures - this was a re-union rave so everyone in them is about 35-50 years old, I dunno what the rest of Adelaide was doing that night.... probably knitting.
The Gold Coast has always been thought of as having a big scene here in Adelaide - rumours of random bashings?? lol, oh and don't go anywhere near it at Schoolies?
I loved the Gold Coast trips back in the day - can u still get $1.50 bundy and cokes?

lol maybe in some places on a tuesday night... and the random bashings are very real! more than rumours lol. the scene here is just top 40 try-hard las vegas type stuff... not much to brag about.
although that's just surfers paradise really. south of surfers there are some interesting thing happening
on gold coast, try Elsewhere... music is usually quality and can catch a few good artists there.
yeah I sort of know one of the guys that sort of helped set up elsewhere, lol. it's definitely a league above everything else in surfers
