If you try the Mixr back to back with the HD25, you'll hear that the Mixr is just "muddy" by comparison.

I think the Mixr's sound pretty good. Don't the Senns lack bass?

Are the studio versions better than the regular ones?

Studios have larger earcups and I believe the drivers are tweeked to sound better. I don't have the TMA1s but from reviews the Studios isolate(larger cups) and sound better due to the improved drivers. TMA1s were made first and the Studios were the improved reincarnation. So YES they are better.

Compared to the Mixrs yes, but the Mixrs exagerate the bass to the detriment of the other frequencies. HD25s are nearly flat, with just a very slight boost on the bass, giving a far more detailed sound.

Just about order my TMA-1's, However ive came across this site selling them £40 cheaper than anywhere else.. Can anyone here vouch for it? Seems a little 'too good to be true'...
