i have recently brought one of these from maplins uk and can clearly say once used to it its an all round good piece of kit but like anything all depends what you want it for.I have mine just for messing around in the bedroom as like making mixes to listen to once out and about and in car.
has all features need for a beginer can clearly say that i have mine connected to virtual dj 7 as i couldnt get on with serranto but yeah all good

Yes, I think it gives you the best bang for the buck.

Great controller, bought mine back in September and love it. Switched to Traktor rather than Serato though, I think thats just a matter of preference.

Once you know how to achieve the things you want its pretty good. I've spent a lot of time messing about with the FX settings in Traktor for it.

    Did you go for one?

Wow, it get's harder and harder to decide which controller to buy. Especially being the 1st purchase. The only thing I can say is that I become slightly accustomed to Virtual DJ (and the ONLY software I've seen), and the WEGO is very appealing, then so is the SB and now this Mix Track pro unit also....

There is very little difference between the mixtrack pro 2 and the SB

The only real difference is the price, paying more for the pioneer name.

Is it worth the extra cost??!!

Some will say yes (me included!!)
    Others will say no!!
I've looked at the mixtrack pro 2 bit not used it. I've used the SB and it was good. The only down side are the limited gain control which both controllers have.

    SALTY
How much did you pay for it at Maplins?
As most other places are £30-£50 cheaper!!
