    I have the same speakers. You just put them into "monitor" mode to activate the filter. They will only produce highs and mids and go load as hell

    ok i'll try it. I just know from experience if you have tops and subs producing the same low frequencies it doesn't sound right

    If the srx828sp can't low pass the tops i'll just buy a two way crossover

    You can high pass the tops. It has multiple settings in the dsp.

    I think the jbl srx 800 series is best bang for buck. You can get 2 dual 828s, and 2 835 three ways for under 5k.

    I already have jbl prx715 tops and its not worth getting srx tops. im just in the market for subs

    You want to high pass the tops. There's a setting on sub and you can select the frequency to high pass.
